First time at the Sherburne County Community Action Team (SCCAT) meeting on 01/27/26:

“Our family moved from Monticello to Elk River two months ago, and this was my first connection with the SCCAT. What a perfect night to attend!  I appreciated hearing the local updates and the presentations from both the school board member and mayor, which helps to already make the city feel a little more familiar. It was also exciting and informative to have the State Auditor candidate speak to the group. Thank you for all the effort put into organizing these meetings and the upcoming events!” – Keri E.

Great book! It was wonderful to hear how the Lord has worked in Dale Witherington life and how restore Minnesota came to fruition. My prayer is that many will read this powerful book and that God would place upon their hearts to get involved in restoring not only Minnesota but restoring our country. May the God of heaven have favor and blessings upon Restore Minnesota and may it spread like wildfire to every city, county and state. A Call to Action! (03/28/25)

This author has an extraordinary calling on his life, and it was so fun to read about how God communicated that calling to him. Intertwined with captivating personal stories, Pastor Witherington encourages us to think about our lives in the bigger picture by discovering why we were created, and challenges us to pursue and complete our assigned “task” (or mission) from God.

Witherington also informs readers about an organization called Restore Minnesota, a ministry that focuses on restoring righteousness in Minnesota by promoting Biblical citizenship. If you have ever thought about getting involved with a group of Christian Constitutional Conservatives, this book is a great place to start. Courageous Christianity provides resources and steps you can take to start your own group, and/or how you can get involved with an already established group. I also highly recommend that you buy a copy to give to your pastor. – Kelli N.

Restore Minnesota: A Bulb of Garlic and a Mandate from Heaven (03/27/25)

Dale Witherington’s “Courageous Christianity: Living a Life of Faith in a World That Desperately Needs Jesus” is a lively, sometimes humorous and sometimes sobering read, a visionary blueprint for promoting biblical citizenship and restoring every state back to God. Dale writes with refreshing bluntness regarding the political atmosphere of our day, yet with depth and tenderness in his relationship with God for one so formidable in the public realm. He shares the unexpected open vision of a garlic bulb hovering over the Senate chamber, a vision that absolutely transformed his life and led to founding Restore Minnesota and the writing of “Courageous Christianity.” This book will bless you with encouragement and motivation in your own journey with Courageous Christianity. – Michael

Excellent Book (02/27/25)

What a great book. As a Christian, I struggled for years from the scripture in Mark 16 that says the one of our commands is to “Go” ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature and in Mark 28 that commands us to “Go” therefore and make disciples of all nations. So, the average person like me cannot physically do this. Dale explains that the word “go” is assumed to be the main command in these 2 verses, but it is not. The words “go” or going into all nations should be correctly interpreted to mean “as you are going through your daily life make disciples of all people groups…” This revelation opened a whole new meaning to me so that as I lead my life in a righteous manner with people that I come in contact with in my sphere of influence, this is how I go and make disciples of them. I am sure that Dale’s explanation of how the Great Commission should be correctly interpreted will bring peace to people like me who have been struggling with these important passages of scripture. Dale also brings revelation to the words “clergy” and “laity” so that Christians do not have to feel that they are second-class Christians just because they are not called as a professional minister such as a pastor. This is an important read for all people of faith. I heartedly recommend it. – Dave S.
