Diane Smith is a firecracker. She is deeply concerned about the liberal push to expose children to pornographic material in public schools. After several attempts to request the removal of the books failed, Diane went “Mama Bear”. The first attempt was at the school board meeting. They rejected the idea and labelled Diane as a right wing extremist. Next came a request to the librarian. That was met with a form letter describing the material as “art”.
What do you do when the education bureaucracy is woke. That is when Mama Bear comes out. Diane made an appointment to meet with the superintendent. She stated her objective to remove the bad books. Then opened a book and started to read. The super was very uncomfortable with what he heard. He pushed her off to the school principal.
She made another appointment. She read. Again, common sense prevailed. Or was it the Spirit of the Living God. The administrator had a change of heart and agreed to have the books removed.
