Jodi’s just got her fingers in everything. She’s a great leader and they were on a couple different uh meetings and things. So, they’re going to talk about some different ways to get involved. Um, and I love Jodi’s line that just finding a common denominator with people and Jodi says, “I like chocolate cake. Do you like chocolate cake? Let’s start there.

I’m Jodi Laliberte That’s from your high school French days. La means the and liberty means freedom. So, we’re the freedom couple. What brought me to this rally today started in 2020. Remember March 2020? And I had a decree come down from here that says, “You will no longer be a business. says, “You have to close your doors cuz you’re non- essential.” I ran a moving company for seniors, owned a consignment store, and had a real estate brokerage. Not essential. So, we had to close our doors. And I said, “Well, you know, I’m not uh ballsy enough to leave my doors open, but I am going to sneak people in the back.” And so, that’s what we did. And we started gathering meetings.  The Lord had showed me a picture of a honeycomb where you know the little hexagon thing and we all tend to exist in our own honeycomb whether that be at your church or your generally that’s where you’re going to worship where you serve where you donate where your friends are and we don’t connect with other honeycombs. So we started connecting with people in the upper room that uh the building that we own in Shore View and we would pray this all is if you want to come we ask that you be a believer in Christ and that you want to pray for the leaders of this country and for the world. So we got together and we prayed heartily for 2 years and then we felt the urge to move on to do something more of a call to action. So we heard about Restore Minnesota restore Minnesota.org hour and we are currently about 15 counties. We get together twice a month and we are based on the seven pillars of influence. So whatever your passion might be whether it’s guns or abortion, immigration, uh the career community, whatever your passion might be, you will find a place to plug in and get involved at Restore Minnesota because the seven pillars are helping remember them. family, government, education, religion, arts and entertainment, media, and business. So, there’s places where you can plug in and get involved. So, just one last thing, Steve and I were driving to Trollhaugen yesterday to go skiing and it just kind of struck me out the conversations we were having. I said, you know, I said, if I wanted to get good at something, anything, I’ll just use the example of pickle ball. There’s a lot of people who like pickle ball now. You can read the rules. You can watch a video. You can go talk to people. You can listen to an expert. But you will never get good at the game until you pick up a racquet.

I’m hoping today that everybody will leave here being willing to pick up the racquet.
