My name is Stephen Laliberte. So when you break that down, Stephen was the first guy to get whacked cuz he was preaching about the Lord. He was also filled with the Holy Spirit. The liberty was the freedom. I’ve been trying to figure out what I’m going to do with my life and I think the Lord has just said just do what your name is. And so here we are. I’m here because of her. We got going on Honeycomb and then we found Restore Minnesota and Restore Minnesota needed some communication help. I own a a digital marketing company called Internet Production Inc. And so I told Pastor Dale, I’m I’m in and I’m helping them with all of their digital stuff and all that. And I became director of communications. And uh I have not been in this building since fifth grade. I have never been to a precinct caucus. I’m running two of them on the 27th.
They got people like Patty.
So why did I get off the bench? And I’ll tell you a quick story. In 2015, I got diagnosed with multiple myeloma bone cancer. Shook my world. It it really put a dent in my business. Not something is not a cancer that you get from your genealogy. It’s a cancer that you get from being exposed to a toxic chemical. So I spent 2015 going through chemo treatment, all this stuff. I had bone marrow transplant. It worked. I had radiation. You know, my bones were turning into Swiss cheese and they’re breaking. I was playing a handball tournament and I broke three ribs and and a collar bone and I had no idea why. Anyway, in 2019, I find out that I live less than a mile from company called Water Gremlin. And Water Gremlin was dumping 70 tons of TCE, which is dry cleaning solvent, into the atmosphere less than a mile from my house. And guess what TCE does? gives you multiple myeloma. So, I got excited. I got going with the community and we found literally hundreds of people that had cancer. We went I petitioned with the Minnesota Health Department for the data on what we call the kill zone and they came back and they said, “We can’t give you that data.” I wasn’t smart enough to know about the the official requirements because they said HIPPA. and they came out and they said there was no health impact because they used statistics from Ramsey County instead of just the immediate zone that was affected. So I got really I got really upset then when we had the shutdown and they killed Jodi’s businesses. Jodi’s businesses were our retirement. She worked 13, 15 years building those businesses that were growing at 20% per year and whack they were shut down. I’m off the bench, man. So, we started getting going and and I and I took a look at, you know, we we worked on a Jensen campaign. What the hell is a BPOU basic? So, we went to the meetings. I’m going to meetings. I’m going it was nothing but what I call stitching and bitching. Everybody sat around. They complained about what was the wrong thing. So, I said this is nuts. So, I went to convention. I raised my hand. Now I’m chair of SD36.
And the the biggest problem I’ve got with SB36 is can’t get anybody to do anything. And and so it’s like we’re on a mission to and you know I’m kind of thinking I’m going to give up with the old farts and I’m going just for the kids because you know too many of them I mean my social circle is is telling me to drop out. Go to Florida. go to Arizona, you know, go to Texas. Get the heck out of this place. I happen to love this state. And so through Restore Minnesota, we’re reaching out to people who are saying, “Get off the bench. Go do something. Join your BPO.U You take it over. You know, let’s be righteous.” And our our mission is to restore righteousness to Minnesota. And and we believe that this is done through a move of the Holy Spirit. And I I’m going to tell you one more quick story then I’m going to shut up. When you know when I got multiple myeloma I got really mad at the Lord. I probably spent a good 6 eight weeks didn’t pray didn’t do anything. I was just mad. It’s like it’s like God what are you doing? And then he gave my daughter a dream, got a word, peace came over me and I was approaching the the bone marrow transplant. The bone marrow transplant ihas a 10% chance that I would not survive. You know, how does that compare to COVID, right? So anyway, I do the bone marrow transplant and they gave me a lethal dose of chemo on December 16th. Killed all of my bone marrow all the way down to my little pinky. 3 days later, they gave me stem cells to regrow it all. I had to get tested every day because they were measuring my white blood count. And it dropped and it dropped and it dropped and it dropped and it finally went down to zero. Guess what day it ticked up? Christmas day. Amen.
So, I’m expecting that God is going to do a movement in Minnesota in a powerful way and going to restore righteousness to our land. Yes. And it’s not our job to win. It’s his job to win. It’s our job to do and to get other people to do. So with that, let’s go do it.
