“In 1606, the King of England approved the First Virginia Charter to send people and cargo to the New World and establish the beginnings of a new nation on the earth. By November 1606, three small ships set sail. After a tumultuous start, all three ships arrived off the coast of what we call Cape Henry, Virginia, in April 1607. The first act of those who made that long, adventurous journey was to give thanks to God and through a Prayer of Covenant dedicate this new land as a place in the world that would not only be founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but would also serve as the premier launching point in the world for taking that Gospel throughout the earth. Today, we recommit ourselves to the Prayer of Dedication of Covenant as prayed by the Rev. Robert Hunt on April 29, 1607. It’s time to return to our roots and take our nation back for Jesus.”
In 2023, We the People of Minnesota, agree and renew our commitment to the Covenant of Dedication made on April 29, 1607 by Rev. Robert Hunt at Cape Henry, North America. The prayer says:
We do hereby dedicate this Land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us, and with these generations take the Kingdom of God to all the earth.
May this Covenant of Dedication remain to all generations, as long as this earth remains, and may this Land, along with England, be Evangelist to the World.
May all who see this Cross, remember what we have done here, and may those who come here to inhabit join us in this Covenant and in this most noble work that the Holy Scriptures may be fulfilled.
We profess “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall bow down and worship before You, For the kingship and the kingdom are the Lord’s, and He is the ruler over the nations” (Psalm 22:27-28 AMPC).
That spiritual stream of the covenant of freedom and liberty across the land now called the United States of America continues to flow. Minnesota and the inhabitants therein were the recipients of that initial prayer of dedication in 1858, the year of our statehood and we remain as the fruit of that covenant prayed at Cape Henry. Today we recommit ourselves to joining in with that original design and purpose for the entire nation.
As the Preamble of the Minnesota Constitution clearly states, “We, the people of the state of Minnesota, grateful to God for our civil and religious liberty, and desiring to perpetuate its blessings and secure the same to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution.”
Minnesota declared freedom then and we are returning to our roots by declaring the Gospel of the Kingdom of freedom, liberty, life, health, justice, peace, prosperity and the pursuit of happiness, now over Minnesota (Mark 1:15).
We invite you to collaborate and spiritually secure the border of the county in which you live. Join with us in declaring Psalm 91 protection as together, with the help and power of God, we dismantle evil and restore righteousness in Minnesota.
Let us march forward together and
- Pray the Perimeter
- Secure the State, and
- Release Holy Spirit fire.
Now is the time to Restore Righteousness in Minnesota as we go forward boldly in the name of Minnesota’s living Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
