You and I are witnessing history unfold with the possible reversal of Roe v. Wade. With all the intense reactions around us, I have one request from you: please pray now…
Minnesota’s Supreme Court issued an opinion in 1995, Doe v. Gomez, that could make our state a central hub for abortions in the Midwest regardless of the status of Roe v. Wade. Minnesota provides few protections for her unborn.
As Christians, we’re called to lead on our knees, through prayer and fasting …
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12
This may not be for you, but here are three ways I’m praying. You’re welcome to join me, and I think you’ll be encouraged:
• Thank God that Roe v. Wade may be overturned in the near future, and if so, many states will protect the unborn children within their borders.

They will be attacked viciously, and we can and should rejoice boldly without fear, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” Matthew 5:10-12

• Ask God to redeem, protect, and free mothers from the lies of the world and the liars coercing them into killing their own children.

They need Liberty through Christ alone. “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3

• Pray for righteousness in our communities, our courts, our legislature, and our governor’s mansion to protect the unborn in our state, whether they live here or are brought here to have their lives ended. The only way to enjoy the fruits of a free society is to have a society actually grounded in true freedom.

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Thank you for reading through my prayer list in the wake of a pending decision about Roe v. Wade from the U.S. Supreme Court. The need is urgent for the most vulnerable among us.

Please let me know your prayer requests, as well, so we may come to our Heavenly Father together in shared purpose.

Grace be with you,
Dan
